Umgang mit wissenschaftsbezogenen Informationen im Online-Diskurs

Sonja Sasel recherchiert im Internet. Im gestrigen Gespräch mit den Eltern von Philip konnte die Lehrerin nicht viel zu der Frage sagen, ob Lernspiele am PC jetzt eine gute oder schlechte Idee sind, damit Philip im Rechnen bessere Leistungen zeigt. Jetzt sucht sie Hintergrundinformationen zu Vor- und Nachteilen der Computernutzung bei Grundschulkindern.

Die Suche zu wissenschaftsbezogenen Informationen bringt auf den ersten Klick eine Vielzahl von Informationen, die verarbeitet, bewertet und zusammengeführt werden müssen. Beim individuellen Umgang mit wissenschaftsbezogenen Informationen zeigen sich häufig deutliche Schwierigkeiten – insbesondere bei der Integration konfligierender Inhalte. Bisherige Forschungsarbeiten betonen die förderlichen Effekte kommunikativer Aktivitäten, wie Fragenstellen und Argumentieren, auf den Aufbau von Wissen und die Entwicklung einer integrativen Sichtweise.

Der Austausch mit anderen, z.B. in einem Online-Forum oder Chat, so ist die Grundidee unseres Projekts, kann die Informationsverarbeitung und die Integration konfligierender Informationen unterstützen. Entsprechend stellen wir im Projekt die Informationsrecherche von Lehrkräften im Netz nach. Aufbauend auf aktuellen Arbeiten werden speziell die kommunikativen Aktivitäten des Argumentierens, d.h. des Generierens von Argumenten und Gegenargumenten, sowie des Perspektivenwechsels, d.h. des Einnehmens und Hinterfragens der Perspektive des Gegenübers, untersucht. Die Erkenntnisse sollen dazu beitragen, eine differenzierte Auseinandersetzung mit wissenschaftsbezogenen Informationen (und Argumenten) sowie die Entwicklung von Wissenschaftsverständnis und kritischem Denken zu fördern. In methodischer Hinsicht soll das Projekt zudem die Entwicklung von Analysemethoden für die Online-Kommunikation voranbringen.
